If you come by plane, depending on your airline company, you will arrive at: Zaventem airport  or Charleroi airport (South) .

From the Brussels Airport (Zaventem) the best way to get to the city center is to take the train (underground floor at the airport). For about €3 you can be in the Central Train Station in only 15 minutes! A taxi from the airport to the city center of Brussels costs around €50.
Students who live in Jette should take the train to North Station (Brussel Noord / Bruxelles Nord), take bus 14 (or 15) and get off at the last stop (UZ Brussel). From there, walk a bit and you will see the student home building on the left side.

Another option to get from the National Airport to the Jette student home is to take bus 820 from the public transportation company De Lijn and get off at UZ Brussel.

The "Brussels South" Charleroi airport is located in the city of Charleroi in the south of Brussels and a lot of low cost airlines fly there. It is not as near as the National airport and to get to Brussels City center we highly recommend you to take a bus. The bus directly from the airport costs about €13 (return ticket €22) and it takes 45 minutes to get to the city center (Midi Train Station). You can buy the ticket in a stand inside the airport. From the Midi Train Station you have all kinds of public transport (taxis as well) so you can go everywhere from there. The other option is taking a taxi from Charleroi, but the price can rise to €80 or even more, so we recommend you to take the bus.

The Midi Train Station (Brussel-Zuid / Bruxelles Midi) is from the three train stations in the centre of Brussels the one that has the most international connections (Thalys, Eurostar, ...). The heart of the city "Beurs / Bourse" is just a few stops away of tram 3, 4, 31, 32 or 33. To get to Jette, you have to take metroline 2 or 6 to "Simonis" (Leopold II) and switch there to bus 13, 14 or 15, terminus.
