Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a student organization founded in 1990 working on supporting and developing student exchange. It is present in 271 Higher Education Institutions from 33 countries all along the Europe. Since its origins, the network is constantly developing and expanding its work in Higher Education. Through the years the ESN has reached an average annual growth rate of 12,3 % and they actually offer services to more than 150.000 students.
The local activities are mainly aimed at incoming exchange students, to help them integrate within their new social and cultural environment and to colour their free time. Each section offers a different program of events, but usually they all include mentor/buddy programme, orientation week, information events, language exchange, trips, parties or sport activities.
On international level, ESN organizes fantastic and cheap trips, cultural events, activities of leisure and meetings to develop the network and integrate the members as well as a number of continuous projects.
